Creating something vulnerable?

Hi, I’m Kyra.

I support intimacy in storytelling for film, television, and stage productions.

Berlin-based, practicing internationally.

About me

As an intimacy coordinator and director, I create safe, collaborative environments that enable authentic performances in scenes involving intimacy, nudity, and simulated sex.

Drawing from extensive and ongoing training in movement coaching, mental health first aid, and consent facilitation, I work closely with cast and crew to thoughtfully realize the director's vision while ensuring all participants feel supported and respected.

From pre-production consultation through to on-set coordination, I bring both expertise and sensitivity to help productions navigate intimate content with professionalism and care.

What is an intimacy professional?

A movement coach for scenes involving all kinds of intimacy

An advocate for mental and physical safety — for both performers and crew — in creating scenes of exposure and/or touch

A liaison and mediator between performers and production

How I can help

I support artistic movement that helps tell the story of intimacy you want. I help to create a supportive set that reduces risk for performers and production through consent and desexualization of the process. That can include:

  • Rehearsing and choreographing scenes involving kissing, consensual or non-consensual implied sexual acts, kink/BDSM, sexual devices (toys), simulated group sex, and other vulnerable scenes.

  • Consulting on modesty wear and barriers for scenes involving nudity (implied, partial or full) as well as prosthetics and pubic wigs.

  • Creating supporting documentation for riders between performers and production.

  • Upholding closed rehearsal/closed set protocols.

  • Supporting directors in capturing the story they want to tell.

  • Supporting performers in de-rolling from their characters.

  • Working with other departments such as wardrobe, hair & make-up, stunts, and stage management as needed for intimate scenes.

  • Assisting in conflict resolution and fostering a professional, collaborative environment.
